edTPA Video Releases
Directions for Video Releases:
The Teacher Candidate is responsible for initiating the video release. The Mentor Teacher is responsible for assisting in the distribution of the release to parents. Teacher Candidates need to include video segments for their edTPA practice and edTPA submission. No student identifying information will be shared in the portfolio. Email the digital video release to the parents of the P-12 students for which you will video. This may need to be done each semester for High Schools who work with different students fall and spring. For parents/guardians who cannot be reached, the student will be counted in the group of students who are not approved for video.
- Mentor Teachers assist Teacher Candidates in Completing edTPA Video Releases fall semester
- If you teach different groups of students in fall and spring, you will need to complete the edTPA Video Releases again in the spring.
